Biographie

Abasov Murad Eldar was born on April 25, 1998 in Baku. In 2004, he was enrolled to the music school-studio of Baku Academy of Music named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli and graduated in 2015. In the same year, he was enrolled to the Trossingen State University of Music in Germany and studied at this university under State Program on Education of Azerbaijani Youth Abroad in 2007-2015”. In 2009, he graduated the bachelor degree with honors and was directly enrolled into the Konz­er­tex­a­m­en. Also, he has been working as a piano teacher in Ulm music school, which is one of the most prestigious music insti­tu­tions in Germany since September of 2019. Murad is also the youngest 21-year-old teacher at Ulm Music School. 

According to the Order № 2111 dated March 29, 2012 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, his name was included in the Golden Book” of Young Talents of Azerbaijan and was awarded a special scholarship of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Murad Abasov is a successful participant of master classes of well-known pianists and pedagogues, performer of several concerts and laureate of various com­pe­ti­tions held in our country and abroad. 

In 2010, he was awarded the laureate and the 1st place at the I Inter­na­tion­al Scientific and Performing Competition of Pianists named after Gara Garayev, at the same time the Medal of Moscow State Con­ser­va­to­ry named after P.I.Tchaikovsky, and a special diploma presented by UNESCO.

In 2012, he was awarded the first place at the compatition named XVII Hope. Talents. Masters” held in Dobrich-Albena cities of Bulgaria and and the Grand Prix nomination. 

At the age of 15, he performed a composing concert by Franz Liszt at the VI Inter­na­tion­al Festival held in the Azerbaijan State Phil­har­mon­ic and Gabala with the State Symphonic Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli and has achieved success that not happen to every pianist at this age.

During his studies in Germany, he worthily represented Azerbaijan at international competitions:

On May 23-27, 2016, he attended at the Inter­na­tion­al Competition named Musical fıreworks in Baden Wurttenberg” held in Myulakker, Federal Republic of Germany and was awarded the Assoluto” prize.

On July 28-31, 2016, he attended at the IV Inter­na­tion­al Competition named Euregio Piano Award” held in Geilenkirchen, Federal Republic of Germany and achieved a great success and was awarded the 1st place with the highest result althought he was the youngest singer and only Azerbaijan among the competitors (18-35 years old) in this competition. Specially this performance was written in an article published under the title The Greatest Approval Performance” in the German media.

December 10-14, 2016 he attended in the Inter­na­tion­al Piano Competition in Bursa, Turkey, and was awarded 1st place by performing the highest result. 

On Fevral 02, 2017, he was awarded the Youth Award” of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

He was awarded 1st place at the Inter­na­tion­al Piano Competition held in Bergamo, Italy on August 1-5, 2017.

In June, 2018 he also achieved success in Pian­o­tal­ents” Inter­na­tioanl Compatition held in Milan, Italy and was awarded the 2nd place. 

October 2-7, 2018 he attended in the Second Changsha Open Inter­na­tion­al Piano Competition” held in Changsha, People’s Republic of China, and was awarded the special reward.

Murad performed solo concerts in Germany, Bulgaria, Italy, Turkey and Poland. Articles about his concerts have been widely covered in the German media.
